The Valencia tourist board and the European travel-tech leader have brought the Spanish city’s vibes to the UK capital for WTM London
London, 9th November 2022 – With the biggest and brightest brands gathered for WTM London to reconnect and discuss the future of the industry, a fleet of iconic London black cabs is currently transporting people from the British capital to the 2022 World Design Capital.
The #ValenciaIsNow campaign aims to provide both attendees and members of the public alike the opportunity to experience a taste of Valencia’s uniquely Mediterranean way of life during their journeys across London.
From its rich culinary heritage to the year-round sunshine, its innovative urban design – including 160 kilometres of cycle lanes and stunning contemporary architecture – to the natural beauty that surrounds the city, it’s no wonder that Valencia has been named the destination of the year.
The co-branded campaign #ValenciaIsNow is being displayed inside and outside the cabs, and it includes a QR code to access a dedicated page on lastminute.com with special offers to fly to Valencia and tips to enjoy the Autumn season at its best.
The entire campaign has been developed by Forward, lastminute.com’s media/marketing arm, which is dedicated to developing digital integrated marketing campaigns which engage travellers and promote destinations all around the world.
